FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW QUICKLY CAN YOU MAKE THE SIGN?
This does depend on the type of sign we are producing. We aim to produce most signage within 3-7 working days with illuminated signage and built up letters taking around 10 working days. We can work to tighter deadlines, just let us know your time scale and we will inform you if this can be achieved.
CAN YOU INSTALL THE SIGNAGE?
Yes we can. We have an experienced fitting team here at Edge Signs who are kept busy everyday fitting signs and graphics. We price the fitting separately so you can see the breakdown of the costs. Our fitters are IPAF qualified and tower trained, we also can provide RAMS upon request.
WHERE DO YOU SIGN WRITE VEHICLES?
We have a vehicle bay inside our studio where we are not governed by the weather and temperature, so we can carry out the work come rain or shine. We do have a height restriction, so we arrange larger premises for lorries an the like. We can also apply the graphics at the clients premises at an extra cost.
HOW DO I KNOW I AM GETTING A GOOD QUALITY JOB?
We love this question! We like clients who care about their signs and the quality. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality signage to suit any budget, we can advise on materials and their life span, as well as in terms of style and what would work best for your project. CAN YOU DESIGN THE SIGNS AND GRAPHICS?
We offer a service whereby we produce layouts, technical drawings, editing existing logos and typography based design. We would always recommend using a graphic design company to design your brand from scratch. Some sign companies offer full graphic design but in our experience you won't be getting the best for your money. We work with many graphic design companies who we can put you in touch with.
Having said this, we offer full signage and vehicle layouts as standard prior to production and we can design the look of the sign within our experienced team.
CAN YOU DESIGN MY VAN LIVERY?
Yes. Once we have established a brief we offer full vehicle graphic layouts as standard.
CAN YOU BUILD ME A WEBSITE?
Although some sign companies offer full graphic design and website design, in our experience you won't be getting the best for your money. Our advice would be to use a company who specialises in design and website building, just as we specialise in signage and printed graphics.
DO YOU OFFER CHARITY DISCOUNTS?
We take into consideration discounting quotes for charities and offer between 5% - 10% discount depending on what type of work is involved.
DO YOU MAKE YOUR OWN SIGNS?
Yes, we have invested in the latest machinery and skills needed to produce in house as much as is financially viable. All CNC router work, printing, sign boards and vehicle graphics are completely produced from scratch here in our studio. Some work is outsourced to keep costs down for the client from a small number of handpicked companies who can achieve the quality we require.
